It’s great to have wonderful friends…Last week I spent some time in Key West. A place I have always wanted to go and well, I finally got the chance to go. I’m a lucky girl!SONY DSC

We certainly made the best of our 3.25 days..biking around the town along the ocean….people watching, feeling the breeze and the blazing sunshine.

Momentarily stopping for a much needed swim, enjoying the beautiful sails along the beach that somehow remind you that you are someplace far far away from the city.

Taking the time to meet new people, share laughs, hydrate, nourish our tummies, unwind and get sweet buzzes on frozen strawberry margarita’s, and yummy mojito’s.

Key West is filled with the most talented bunch of people in such a small area.  Every block spilled with bars blaring the sounds of a musician singing their own style away.  We thoroughly enjoyed it.

And you can’t help but stop by the street artists…some are great, some may be questionable but they will definately get your attention in some way.  Here I am giving this irrestible pup a tip for being so sweet and loyal.

Meson De Pepe-

and finally, dining at a charming restaurant,..this night it was a Cuban restaurant called Meson de Pepe which was set up along the marina.  We had conch fritters, ropa vieja, skirt steak, yellow rice, beans and sweet bananas.  We Sipped on amazing mojito’s whilst listening to the cuban sounds of a two man group. Perfect.
