“Self-respect is a question of recognizing that anything worth having, has a price.” -Joan Didion

I truly feel that life gives you obstacles to challenge you to rise to the occasion.  Have you ever found yourself in a situation all of a sudden (because it normally kind of sneaks up on you) and you dread every second of it, whether it’s a relationship, or a job or a living situation…  You tolerate it because you listen to that little voice inside you or others that say, stay put, this is a steady well paying job, or think it through, the grass isn’t always greener, or it’s really rough out there, are you sure you want to take a chance…and there are a plentidude of other excuses or reasons that you stay in a situation that doesn’t make you happy.  The honest truth is, only the weak stay in a situation that is not contributing to their growth or remain in a place where their growth has halted… Stop listening to those voices and get strong,…use this situation as a catalyst to push you to where you want to be or doing what you want to be doing.  Stop complaining, stop suffering…Yes, it is a cliche, but there is also some solid truth to the fact that life is too short to spend worrying, thinking, wanting….etc..  If you want your life to change, change your life!
